　　在中国的南部。

　　A I’m going to visit friends in Guangzhou next week.

　　A 我下周要去广州看朋友。

　　B That’s in the south of China, isn’t it?

　　B 广州在中国的南部，对吗？

　　A It is. It’s different from Beijing. The people are different, too.

　　A 是的。它和北京不同。人也不同。

　　B And the food!

　　B 还有食物也不同！

　　A Yes, Cantonese food is different from Beijing cuisine.

　　A 是的，广东菜和北京菜很不一样。

　　B Well, I hope you have a good trip. I’d like to visit Guangzhou myself one day.

　　B 哦，我希望你旅行愉快。将来我也想去广州。

　　1 There are many ways to specify a location or position, you can also use directions, e.g. Guangzhou is in the south of China. / Guangzhou is in the south of China.
